As of yesterday, 20 May 2009, Johnnie Clapper has left Trisol Music Group GmbH. Contrary to speculation which is circulating on the internet, Trisol Music Group GmbH hasn’t collapsed and Johnnie Clapper has left Trisol Music Group GmbH of his own accord because he has set himself new private and professional goals for the future.

The limited company (Trisol Music Group GmbH) will continue. Regarding the departure of Johnnie Clapper, this is a change of business arrangements in the accustomed manner: friendly and with mutual agreement.

Contrary to other speculation, Johnnie, with whom I founded the label in 1997, has left Trisol of his own accord.

Johnnie: I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this time together. We turned our hobby into a job; we worked around the clock with passion to realise this dream of a lifetime; we developed visions, started anew and developed yet more visions…

It was a wonderful time and this priceless memory will always remain with me.

I’d also like to thank Alex for this tremendous time. We realised many of our dreams and together we built up a successful company. It is with a mixture of feelings that I leave: on the one hand, for a long time I’ve been fascinated by the lure of the new and I will have more time for my own projects; on the other, Trisol has grown up inside my heart and will always be a part of me.
